And with just a few blocks on city streets, you can cross the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges for astonishing cityscapes and to visit Brooklyn.

For many years this park was the epicenter of the protest movements and counterculture activities. Now peaceful and beautiful, there's even a family of hawks that share a nest on the east side of the park, near 8th St.
