Front and back porch perfect for watching the sunrise and sunsets, quiet get away. There is some equipment on property, We have a shop area in the back of the property we use occasionally but it is a good distance away. NO AC

Welcome! We made our historic house into a duplex to provide privacy for both ourselves and our guests. The bnb enjoys the covered porch, and front door entry to a private living space. The bnb includes a comfy den, open kitchen, two dining areas, two queen size bedrooms, and full bath. As hosts, we use a side entry, and keep to our own adjoining and quietly walled off areas of the house. Our residence includes its own kitchen, bath and living spaces, so the bnb is all yours!

Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Your stay is in a bright and airy studio apartment/cottage located in a shaded English style garden with places to sit and relax anytime of day, perfect for one or two people. Private off street parking for one vehicle. Convenient walking distance to Downtown Westcliffe. A mini kitchen with a convection hot plate, coffee maker, toaster and small refrigerator should you choose to cook in. Level one and level 2 EV charging is available...please bring your own cord.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. No TV. Monte Vista is a small rural town.
