The Bothy is an authentic, traditional Highland dwelling, carefully restored to preserve its original features and character while providing essential facilities, warmth and comfort. A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Mongolian Yurt with Spa on edge of Galloway Forest

Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land.
