While you will have full access everything listed here, part of the 1st floor (full blocked off with private separate entrance) is another Airbnb unit. You may run into other guests due to a shared outdoor gated entry but each unit has a separate private and secure entrance into the Airbnbs. The kitchen and dining area are right above the 1st floor Airbnb, so we appreciate not walking with your shoes (if loud) upstairs. Within 5 to 10 minutes are the Medical Center, NRG, and Downtown Houston! Less than 15 minutes away are the BBVA Compass Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Rice University, University of Houston, Texas Southern University, the Houston Zoo, Museum District and many many wonderfully diverse culinary options from food trucks to breweries to steakhouses! Approximately 15 seconds to highway 288 which gets you downtown in around 8 minutes. Stay here and you don't have to fight street traffic on top of freeway/highway traffic! Street parking in front of the house along the grass is plentiful! Most of the owners park here since our garages tend to be for storage :) No Pets Allowed (We are very allergic!). We also appreciate you leaving your shoes in the foyer since we have soft pine wood flooring upstairs. You will have access to the townhouse through our gated side yard. We recently moved closer to downtown so we're still just minutes away and can help with issues you may be having. We do clean our own units so don't be surprised to run into us as we're cleaning the other Airbnb :) This unique metal-clad townhouse complex sits right in the heart of an urban neighborhood in inner-loop Houston. Less than a 5-minute drive from downtown, diverse culinary options are on the doorstep, from food trucks to breweries and steakhouses. Minutes from the new HEB and other amenities. Hobby Airport is 15-30 Minutes away depending on traffic. George Bush Airport is 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic. Local bus station is a 6 minute walk away. You can bike to the closest rail line station. This is Texas though so driving (including Uber) is usually the easiest way to get around. We will send more detailed access instructions (tips, really) the day of or the day prior to your arrival, so please keep an eye out for that. You will also need to climb a loft ladder to utilize the second queen bed in the loft so we do want to make sure you're aware and comfortable doing so. The house has tons of natural light, high end furnishings and 20 foot vaulted ceilings! It was designed and built for guests to have all the amenities like luxurious bedding and fixtures right in the heart of classics like Guero's, The Continental Club, Hopdoddy's, Home Slice and more! Uber and Lyft are staples of transportation in Austin as well as scooters and bikes that you can pick up on the sidewalk. We are on an express bus line as well that can take you near and far. You're in the heart of it all and it's easy to get around. We also offer 1 on-site parking space if you choose to rent or drive in your own car. The hotel next door is a popular venue for events that take place often on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This means there could be loud, live music for weddings and events. It ends by 11 pm on the weekends but be aware if you'd be disturbed by it. We love the energy it brings but it's not for everyone.

You’ll love the views into the trees, the location, the ambiance, the quiet near the action. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (but not child-proof). The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, and there are two separate bedrooms. The interior space is 750 sf, and the back deck is roughly 280 sf. The large sliding glass doors in both the living room and one of the bedrooms lend an indoor-outdoor living atmosphere, adding space and the feeling of being up in the trees. My place is the back unit in a duplex. It's very private and quiet, set off from the street. I'm easy to reach via Airbnb messaging, email or phone, happy to offer local tips.
