Miller's Rest

Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

A cosy industrial-inspired cottage on the edge of the Lake District National Park, nestled in the picturesque Eden Valley. Designed for comfort and convenience, our space features a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Starlink WiFi, an EV charge point, and luxurious Simba memory foam beds. Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. We are not suitable for loud parties or celebrations.

Facilities are basic, but our reviews will tell you how much people have enjoyed it. The bothy is off-grid and has two floors - downstairs a cosy living area with woodburner and cooking facilities; upstairs a sleeping area with view of the night sky. Dogs welcome.
