The Weaving Shed Studio - a Shetland retreat

The Weaving Shed Studio is a small, very basic ground-floor apartment next to the glorious Weaving Shed Gallery, a private space which displays the work of the late Jeannette-Therese Obstoj. Jeannette loved Shetland and the restoration and refurbishment of the then-derelict Weaving Shed was carried out in her memory by the current owner, her partner Geoff. The studio apartment was designed as a simple retreat for creative writers and artists and is available to individuals and couples.

Voortrekker - Quinni Geo Apartment with Spa area

We have 3 self catering in-house open plan adult only apartments; Quinni Geo being our most spacious and private, sits upstairs with private balcony, summer BBQ & double patio doors. From within the views enjoyed are over the Southpund cliffs of Quinni Geo and to the south part of the area. The balcony enjoys full panoramic views with the afternoon sun and stunning sunset colours gracing the sea and skyline. Our gorgeous local beach is minutes away, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North.

Traditional Shetland cottage with outstanding view

Fishers Croft is a stonebuilt former but and ben. One of the earliest houses built in Hamnavoe at the end of the 19th century, it has been renovated and and now provides cosy self catering accommodation. It has outstanding views over the marina, Fugla Ness Lighthouse and Foula. A shop is a few minutes away, regular bus services to Lerwick and Scalloway. There are lovely walks all around including Meal Sands, a beautiful white sandy beach and plenty of rugged coastline.

A very central and fully refurbished apartment on the first floor, built in 1871 and tastefully modernised but still keeping its cosy atmosphere. Situated in the old part of Lerwick close to all town centre amenities, 300m to pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Private off road parking and secluded entrance. There is a shared garden that guests are welcome to use. Fully equipped with everything you need including wifi and Netflix for chill time.

Sea views from self-contained cosy apartment, adjoining family home, located just 4 miles south of Lerwick. Dog friendly - please add them to booking. Fee is per dog. Lovely views over Gulberwick bay and beyond to the isle of Bressay. Walking distance to Gulberwick beach. Double bedroom with en-suite, lounge with equipped kitchenette. Central heating. TV, WiFi available. Parking on driveway. Please note no smoking inside the property.

Bright, modern and airy flat, right in the heart of Lerwick. Recently redecorated and refurbished, this flat is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Big bay windows look out over the town's historic Hillhead - the perfect location for viewing the world-famous Up Helly Aa fire festival, as the spectacular torchlight evening procession starts from right outside, making this the ideal view point.

Our cosy, stylish, modern apartment offers sea views over Lerwick Harbour and Bressay. A short walk from Commercial Street, overlooking the historic Fort Charlotte this is the perfect location to explore the history and culture of Lerwick. The Annual Up Helly Aa torch lit procession is just a stones throw away, you may catch a glimpse of the torches burning from the living room window.

Sound Lodge a Quiet Getaway with a Stunning View

The self-contained flat is situated at the North end of the main property, above the garage so please be aware that there is a staircase for easy access as it has its own entrance and hallway. You will have access to our own waterfront & jetty so if you have a kayak or small boat you're welcome to use the facility, the garage can be used for the drying area.
