Convenient location at the top of Lake Macquarie. Good access to all the hospitals, shopping centres, lake tourist areas and beautiful Speers Point park. Fully self contained with microwave, hotplate, good kitchenette. Initial breakfast items provided, muesli or rolled oats, eggs, bread, butter, spreads, tea, coffee, milk. Washing machine in bathroom & drying space outside. Host on hand for help. Parking on site. NOTE: No TV provided, just a Blue Tooth speaker to play your devices through.

The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, private cottage is set on a working horse property. It is perfect for a couple's getaway or single traveller to explore the beautiful Hunter Valley. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive away and Port Stephens 1 hour.
