We are close to major Silicon Valley destinations; 30 minutes from San Francisco, San Jose and the beach in Half Moon Bay —with easy access to Highways 101 and 280, as well as public transportation (SamTrans, Caltrain and BART via Caltrain). Our quiet street is an easy 5-minute walk (0.2 mi) from downtown San Carlos with shops and literally dozens of restaurants.

Our detached guesthouse is centrally located in DTSJ near Japantown, features a king-sized, ultra-comfortable bed and cold mini split A/C system in the bedroom that guarantees a restful night's sleep. It is a custom built (in 2018) 1 Bedroom cottage with a private entrance, super fast WiFi, 50 inch flat screen TV, skylights, full kitchen, a bathroom with a huge shower plus a full sized washer and dryer pair. The cottage is entirely separate from our home and has a small yard and patio under a large oak tree that provides shade to the entire area.
