The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Self Catering Silloth - Spindrift Cottage

Welcome to Spindrift Cottage our lovely self catering holiday cottage one mile from Silloth on the Solway Coast, just a five minute walk down the lane opposite will take you to the beach with views over the sea to Scotland. The cottage is comfy and well equipped, double bed downstairs, lounge and kitchen, at the front is a cottage garden and to the rear a shared garden, we have parking. There's walks to do over the green and prom or beaches, and places to visit locally.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

It used to be a calving shed!Converted in the early 2000s the character and charm is plentiful .If you require a shorter stay please message me via Airbnb message.The bathroom has shower,sink and toilet. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

Clough Head pod is perfect for romantic, cosy nights away and to explore the beautiful picturess mountains right outside your door! This takes glamping to a new level. Head outside to it’s own private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or take a soak in the hot tub and read a good book!
