The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley. Due to its location our much loved cottage is not for you if steps are an issue!

This modern nautical themed ground floor apartment (accessed up 6 steps front and rear) is a short stroll to the beach, pubs and bustling town centre but ideally situated on the West Cliff to enjoy the quieter part of town. Spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa-bed and fabulous views of the Abbey, one separate double bedroom and large separate walk-in shower room. Parking space onsite or car park 1 minute away. Shared use of the front patio to enjoy the views. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Summerfield Bungalow

Summerfield bungalow is located just outside the village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby & Robin Hood’s bay. The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! A beautiful retreat in Whitby

Mariner's Moon is just a five minute walk from the centre of Whitby and the railway station, and around a 10-15 minute stroll away from the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey. The house has very recently been renovated to a high standard and is designed to allow guests a very comfortable stay. Mariner's Moon has three beautiful bedrooms, one large well appointed bathroom, two toilets, utility room, a gorgeous kitchen/diner and comfortable living room. There is free on street parking.

Periwinkle cottage is a beautifully renovated property, perfectly located in the centre of the quaint village of Ruswarp but a short walk to the centre of Whitby. The open plan lounge, with comfortable seating, smart tv leads to a luxury fitted kitchen which in turn leads to a private outdoor space, ideal for lazing in the sun and Al fresco dining. Upstairs, the property has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other featuring a small double, and a family bathroom.
