The cottage suits a couple and in the lounge is a sofa bed for a third guest. If there is only two of you and you require the sofa bedding please let us know at booking. Located in the heart of West Auckland's vineyards and wedding venues, 36 kms from the Auckland CBD. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Ideally situated for those travelling via the scenic Kaipara Coast and 40-60 min to AKL airport.

Welcome to Wharehine Farm Cabin, a cosy off-grid cabin with luxurious touches nestled in the rural community of Wharehine. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the coast. Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Ideal for those looking for a quiet get-away, also with everything required for a longer stay; or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. There is a full kitchenette, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Ian and I welcome you to a taste of country life and country noise, an hours drive from Auckland City. The Shed offers peaceful rural and water views plus the occasional visit from wild deer and peacock. Nesting swallows on the porch in case you have a fear of birds! It is a restful stop on your travels, or an escape from the hustle bustle of life. Stand alone with a garage between it and the main house. Happy to put together a yummy platter and wine, message separately for prices ☺️
