Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

There are no neighbors in sight from the cabin, yet you are only a few minutes away from a convenient grocery location (Walmart - 3.7mi). Tucked below Mt. Celo Knob, you can expect to enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, the sweet hum of the creek and our gardens. Come for a rustic, simple stay in our clean, light filled home! Located off Highway 80 on 5 acres near the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounded by nearby hiking trails and the gorgeous Celo Knob and South Toe River. Closest towns are Burnsville (15 min) & Spruce Pine (20 min). Super close to Camp Celo, Mt Mitchell, Waterfall hikes, Penland, Arthur Morgan School.

This charming, rustic cabin is nestled amongst lush mountain laurel providing a very private and secluded atmosphere. Take in the sights and sounds of nature from the generous wrap around porch which overlooks the babbling brook and mossy rocks below. A chance to unwind and unplug while being surrounded by nature. This creekside cabin is located on 24 wooded acres, we invite you to get outside and explore the private hiking trails, mountain views and creeks this special place has to offer.

Mountain modern Carriage House downtown Morganton

The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
