The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

A cute wee cottage for a hideaway. Surrounded by trees and bird life in a peaceful setting. The Motueka River is a 5 min walk. We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. A great central location for Nelson, Motueka, Kaiteriteri and Nelson lakes. We are conveniently located right on the Great Taste cycle trail. Fully self contained cottage. An easy 15 minute drive from Murchison at the convergence of the Tutaki you will find Mangles Valley Paradise. Surrounded by stunning native bush clad hills the property is situated in an elevated position enjoying spectacular 360 degree views with the Tutaki River flowing gently below. A short drive over the Braeburn Track will take you to beautiful Lake Rotoroa in the heart of the Neson Lakes. If you want to wake up to the sound of the river & native birds - this is the place for you.

The Woodsman's Den, St Arnaud, Nelson Lakes

The Woodsman's Den is a 2 bedroom guesthouse set in your own private corner of our 10 acre property. An amazingly secluded haven that looks out on lush native forest. Wake up to the cacophony of birdsong, fresh mountain air and a sense of well-being. The surrounding area sits nestled amongst the mountains and has an array of outdoor activities on offer. Karaka is a 2 bedroom cottage with decks and a verandah with wonderful views of the Waimea Inlet and mountains beyond. The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+

Home away from Home

St Arnaud is a peaceful alpine village. Excellent location for lake activities, bush walks, adventurous tramping expeditions, mountain biking and accessing Rainbow Ski Field. The Bach is located within an easy 8 minute walking distance to the shop & petrol station, 12 minutes walk to the lake and 14 minutes walk to the Nelson Lakes DOC Visitor Centre. Spend time walking, biking, boating or skiing. Then relax in the calm, cosiness of the Bach.

Stargazer's Cabin is located on the back of the property at Nelson Lakes Homestay. It has one bedroom, a lounge, and a kitchen. Nelson Lakes Homestay is adjacent to Nelson Lakes National Park and Te Araroa Trail, just 4 km from St Arnaud and beautiful Lake Rotoiti. Enjoy spectacular mountain views among expansive grounds with native gardens and native birds. And on clear nights, view the Milky Way in stunning clarity!
