The Boiling House, Beckside

Boiling House is a truly unique, beck side property located in Staithes. The original building has been an integral part of village fishing heritage for many years. Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

Wake up to this stunning view, and enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea outside our traditional cottage gazing at fishing boats in the beck, higgledy-piggledy rooftops or out to sea Popular with artists, and recently mentioned in the Saturday Times, our former fisherman's cottage is warm and cosy, and perfect for a romantic break or relaxing getaway. Mortimer & Whitehouse filmed Gone Fishing here and it's the home of Old Jack (Bernard Cribbins) in the BBC children's series Old Jack's Boat.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. We have a great veranda with amazing views. WiFi and a Smart TV which includes Netflix and Prime Video. Bedding and towels provided. We provide a free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. The booking includes a bottle of wine. No Pets. The property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to steps and a spiral staircase. Check in 3pm. Check out 11.00 am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.

Our 250-year-old three-bedroomed fisherfolk’s home is in beautiful Staithes, where quaint historic cottages nestle together on the hillside leading down to the harbour and beach. It is half-way down the steep hill in the old village, a five-minute walk to the harbour, beach, pubs, restaurants and unique shops. We have a parking space, four poster bed, open fire and roll top bath. VERY IMPORTANT - please read the information below before you book to make sure it’s the holiday home for you.

Beautiful Dunsley Cottage in Staithes⚓

A warm welcome to Dunsley Cottage in the heart of Staithes. Dunsley is a beautiful fisherman's cottage, built in 1871 it is oozing with Victorian charm. The cottage retains many original features but has lovingly been brought into the 21st century with its warm and inviting decor. Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. A magical escape awaits!

Smugglers Den, Staithes - fabulous views.

Set within the North York Moors National Park, Staithes is an unspoilt fishing village. Smugglers Den is a beautiful three bedroom detached period house with spectacular sea views and yards from the beach and pub. There is a terrace at the front with table/chairs/BBQ as well as a garden with views out to sea. The accommodation is set over three floors with lounge/diner and kitchen on ground floor. Bedroom and bathroom to the second floor and two further bedrooms and loo on the top floor.

Kimberlina Carriage Ravenscar

The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 , including a generous master on the 1st floor, a large double and twin bedded room on the 2nd floor. With a newly refurbished house bathroom and spacious kitchen the cottage is perfect for couples and families.

The Cottage occupies a front line position, with breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views, just off the high street in the bottom of staithes old town. Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.
