Stag Cottage

Hayeswood Farm is set in the rolling hills of south Derbyshire. Our family moved here in 2024 and have a strong focus on sustainability, regenerating the land and creating a haven for wildlife. The farm is home to chickens, ducks, geese, horses and our three whippets and is a great place to see wildlife such as songbirds, hare, partridge, and fallow deer. With public footpaths on our doorstep and plenty of pubs and farm shops near by, Stag Cottage is the perfect location for a weekend getaway.

A mere 5 min drive from junction 25 M1, a short 15 minute drive from East Midlands airport and 7 miles from Nottingham and Derby city centre. Fantastic regular bus routes to both cities only a short walk away. comes with its own personal Wi-Fi. Our Apartment is located in the grounds of our home so we will always be on call if ever you need anything. Private parking for one car.

Access through an independent entrance and located in a quiet area of Beeston. Beston High Street and the tram stop to Nottingham city centre are 5-10 mins walk.

Minimalistic decor but a comfortable cosy warmth. 2 sets of stairs to climb but worth it to look out over long Eaton. There is both a bus stop and taxi rank outside for a short ride to either Nottingham or Derbyshire. Otherwise it’s nice to mooch about the towns coffee shops, Pubs, take out/ fast food places market days-(Wednesdays Fridays Saturdays)

The moment you drive down the private driveway and reach this detached cottage you will realise your somewhere special. The perfect place to unwind in this comfortable cottage boasting many creature comforts. The open plan living/dining area is also separated by a breakfast bar leading to the well-equipped Kitchen

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
