There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Please note we allow a maximum of 4 guests including infants we only allow 1 small/medium dog per booking. (Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture)

Fell Cottage sleeps four guests in two en-suite bedrooms and provides exceptionally high standard of pet friendly holiday accommodation in the Lake District National Park. Lovingly restored and furnished, Fell Cottage is less than a miles stroll from the centre of the bustling Lakeland village of Staveley in the South East of the National Park. Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.
