On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to this unique combination of an Idyllwild woodsy cabin and your own private Hawaiian tropical tiki treehouse! The Cozy Lodge & Tiki Treehouse sits down off a private, quiet, unpaved dirt road. The lodge is a 250sq ft cozy studio-guest cabin decorated with Idyllwild vintage decor and is backed up onto a secluded forest corridor with the tiki bar just a few steps away (think Pirates of the Caribbean meets Swiss Family Robinson). 5 min drive into the heart of Idy. Pet friendly/no pet fees.

Our cabin is nestled in the pines and is close to the city center and restaurants. You’ll love our cabin because of the cozy feel, outdoor space, fireplace, jacuzzi, & hip decor. The master bedroom with queen bed is on the ground floor, as is the bonus bed, in a nook just around the corner from the living room. Just up the ladder is the loft, with a queen bed and TV. Vintage cabin recently renovated to add modern comfort while keeping its mountain charm. Dog friendly! The cabin has 2 apartments - this listing is for the upstairs unit, which has one bedroom, one bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, a loft for a dedicated workspace and a beautiful deck. The cabin sits in a large, tree lined lot that is shared with the downstairs basement apartment. The only shared space is the backyard and laundry room (laundry available upon request).
