We encourage guests to enjoy the property but if exploring is your thing, the area is great- located in the American Viticultural Areas / The Yadkin Valley AVA with vineyards plus hiking, horseback riding and other activities!

Big Elkin Creek Farm

The cabin at Big Elkin Creek Farm is a true oasis, tucked away in the foothills of NC. A genuine log home built in the 1800's, it is a fully furnished and completely updated. Located in the center of a beautiful 80-acre farm, the cabin is ideal as a couple's getaway, girls weekend,or perfect for a family of up to six. Guests can choose the solitude of the farm, visit the nearby historic town of Elkin and it's nearby wineries, or take in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and State Parks.

Enjoy an idyllic setting overlooking a large, open pasture with gorgeous views of Skull Camp Mountain. Experience 70 acres with tons of trails to hike & always amazing sunsets over the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hike a half-mile+ river frontage and swimming hole for the kids (or dogs). Great place to relax and return to nature with the family or enjoy a great romantic escape & fun weekend touring wineries! The Serre Vineyards Tasting Room is available for private reservations if you enjoy wine.

The Playhouse at Klondike Cabins

The Playhouse at Klondike Cabins is located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Region. This rustic, 2-suite, authentic log cottage is filled with early American antiques and historic artwork. The smallest of our cabins, it features two bedrooms with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, two full private baths and private entrances. You will find a large sitting area with sofa, chairs, fireplace, and a patio overlooking the Grassy Creek Vineyard and Winery Tasting Room.

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

The Wild Opal: The Cabins at White Sulphur Springs

Our Studio Style Cabins are a perfect getaway. We are located 3.5 miles from Downtown Mount Airy, NC.... MAYBERRY! Ours cabins sleep 4 and features a fireplace, private deck with a grill, bathroom and a separate vanity, living room area with a queen sofa bed, pillow top king-sized bed, wireless internet, 42" flat screen TV, kitchenette with china and flatware for four, Keurig, toaster oven, electric skillet, and microwave. All linens and towels provided.

Deer Run: Waterfront Log Cabin

All guests must be at least 21 years of age, unless accompanied by parent or guardian. Deer Run is a log cabin with all the modern comforts you need tucked in a cozy setting that looks like it could have been there for centuries! It sits along the bank of Big Elkin Creek with steps that lead down to the water's edge and chairs that are perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine to sip as you watch the sun set.

Laura's Mayberry Home

Laura's Mayberry Home is a beautiful, distinctive 2-bedroom (one with a King bed, the other with a Queen), 1-bath older home that has been completely refurbished. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet right around the corner from Wally's Service Station Center, two blocks from the Blackmon Amphitheater, and only three blocks from downtown and Snappy Lunch. LMH is the perfect spot to enjoy your days and your nights!

Whippoorwill Cabin

Whippoorwill Cabin is truly a special place! You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of the pond and the cows. At night, relax by the fire pit and listen to the frogs and the whippoorwills. The cabin is also close to shopping, dining, wineries and family-friendly activities. It is a fabulous getaway for couples.
