We are located at mile 144 on the Parks Highway within Denali State Park. Denali National Park entrance is about 100 miles north. Byers Lake is only 4 miles north with lots of hiking, fishing, kayaking and full of adventure. Some other popular hiking trails within Denali State Park include Kesugi Ridge, Byers Lake, Ermine Hill, Little Coal Creek, Lower and Upper Troublesome. See as much of Alaska as you can knowing at the end of a long full day you will have a comfortable place to come back to.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, Matanuska Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Coho dry cabin has a mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. Talkeetna Burl Cabin is pet friendly cabin located 5 miles from Talkeetna on a quiet country street. Many prior guests have written that their stay was one of the best they had in Alaska! Breakfast goodies and coffee are provided so you can relax during your stay. Please note that this is a dry cabin, water is provided and it also has an inside composting toilet. A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, though we ask that you request before using it. Want pets? Send a private message we offer pets with a cleaning deposit.

Not your ordinary cabins, the Inn has tucked these spacious beauties back in in private little settings. A full breakfast is served at 8:30 in the dining room at the Farmhouse or on the expansive porch at the Farmhouse just down the road.
