This basement apartment is on the Pell City side of the lake close to the dam. It has a huge porch overlooking the lake with outdoor table to enjoy dinner or coffee while watching sail boats or heron fly around. It's close to the Birmingham Sail Club and only 15 minutes to a supermarket. Enjoy a private entrance on the lower level with a large flat yard and dock while you stay at this well appointed apartment. The apartment was occupied full time for 3 years. This charming lakefront home is nestled into a bank overlooking beautiful Logan Martin Lake. The master bedroom and lakeside porch boast a lake view you will be sure to love. The screened in porch overlooking the lake is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, cocktail, read a book, or catch a quick nap. The lake is a staircase away and the dock allows for lounging in shade or sun, swimming, fishing, and has an available boat slip for guests’s to bring their own watercraft if desired.

Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.

The Goat Farm Cottage at South of Sanity Farms

This is a great space for a family looking to escape the busyness of life and give the kids a hands on farm experience. Guests can roam around on their own or tag along as we do our daily chores and learn about all of the different animals. There is a pond that you can fish, canoe, kayak, or paddle boat in. We also have a fire pit, above ground pool, and even a chapel to give you the relaxing getaway that we all need from time to time.
