1898 Boxcar, Charming Quiet Sanctuary

Our narrow-gauge Chile Line Boxcar hauled Cowboys and Indians, sheep and cattle in the Rio Grande Gorge long ago. Now remodeled, it is loaded with charm, from hand-crafted touches to antique furnishings. Guests frequently exclaim, “Wow!” when entering. They call it “very comfortable and cozy” from slipper tub to bed, with grand views across sweeping pastureland and the Taos mountains.
