The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

Whilst we're sure you'll enjoy relaxing at the house, either inside or on the deck, it is only a 15 minute walk to the beach and amenities in Tahunanui, and a short drive or cycle into Nelson. The Kahurangi and Abel Tasman national parks beckon and are easy day trips. Harakeke is a great base for whatever adventures await!
