Boonie Doone -Guest Suite - Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to our B&B Bonnie Doone. We live on site with our Daughter and dogs Russell & River and love hosting guests from around the world. 5 minutes from the heart of Te Awamutu and 30 minutes from Hamilton, we are central to all things Waikato. Perfect for a quiet weekend retreat or a quick stop over on your journey. House trained dogs are welcome and we have a fully fenced, secure area to keep them contained. You must choose the option of a pet when booking so we can plan for their arrival.

Gardeners' Cottage (Breakfast included)

This charming Cape Cod-style cottage offers tranquil and private country-style accommodation. Breakfast is included, featuring a selection of muesli, yogurt, toast, and spreads. Inside the cottage, you'll find a convenient kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, microwave, convection oven, hobs, and a toaster. Nestled amidst berry farms and renowned country-style cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, Gardeners Cottage is just a 10-minute drive from downtown Hamilton & 15 minutes from Cambridge.

Self Contained Guest Unit

Very Central to do day trips to Rotorua, Taupo, Waitomo caves, Hobbiton. Tauranga . great views, awesome heat pump in the winter months and cool in the summer months, swimming pool and a very quiet neighbourhood. 10 minutes walk to town and 10 min drive to Golf course 15 minutes to Hamilton Airport 20 minutes to Mystery Creek (Field Days) 40 minutes to Waitomo Caves and the Hobbiton. 45 minutes to Raglan 1 hour to Rotorua 1 hour 15 minutes to Taupo 1 hour 30 minutes to Mount Maunganui

The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Feel free to wave out to them if they drive past in their tractors.

Rosetown Hideaway

Make yourself at home in this sunny, comfy space. You’ll have a cosy king bed, your own bathroom, and kitchenette, free Wi‑Fi, Freeview TV, off‑street parking, and a private entrance. We’re just a short stroll to local shops, cafés, takeaways and the lovely Rose Gardens. Te Awamutu is also a great base for exploring — the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Hobbiton, and the beautiful Hamilton Gardens are all an easy day trip away. Sorry, no pets.

Black Barn, Pirongia

A warm, spacious and private retreat set on 60 acres 2 minutes from Pirongia village. Fully self contained with large lounge, dining and kitchen area and your own bathroom and toilet. Swings, maypole and trampoline for the kids. Pets to pat. Swimming pool available through the warmer months. The Black Barn is set amongst an open ground nursery and farmland. If you like plants and space, you will love this place!

The Ngaroto Nest

This 2-bedroom guest house is modern and unique. It offers open plan living spaces where the large ranch slider opens up onto a lovely deck and a private outdoor entertaining area. Whether it’s the chirping of the birds or the lush green paddocks, petting the pet piggies or looking for outdoor activities which are abundant to the area, this rural space has much to offer.
