We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Old Pumping Station Broseley, Ironbridge Gorge

The Old Pumping Station provides a unique industrial look with a holiday cottage feel. Set in an idyllic location between Broseley and Ironbridge. The World famous bridge being less than a mile walk. Originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley. Some of the original pipework and valves have become a focal point in the conversion. Fully fitted kitchen. The cottage is recently renovated, and provides a cosy rural retreat, whilst being within close proximity of Wellington, Telford and Shrewsbury. The cottage is set in the foothills of the Wrekin. There are numerous walks directly from the cottage, up the Wrekin and in the adjacent Ercall wood. The cottage is ideally located for visiting the Ironbrige area, and the Welsh boarders. As well as being a short drive from the business centres for those travelling for work purposes.

The School House, a charming 200-year old cottage.

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.

Situated at the delightful Maws Craft Centre which was originally a Victorian Mill Tile works with art, craft and design studios situated in the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
