Swallow Cottage, Auldgirth - north of Dumfries.

Swallow Cottage was lovingly converted by Steve and Sarah from McMurdoston's old granary in 2014 and provides a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from a 24-hour supermarket, a cinema and numerous eateries, but once you get here you'll feel as if you are truly in the middle of nowhere. We live just across the yard if you need us and we'll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and quietly memorable.

Curlew Cottage is situated in a lovely rural area with amazing views of the Moffat Hills. Curlew Cottage offers the perfect holiday cottage to get away from it all and relax in the wood fuel hot tub looking out over the panoramic view of the Moffat hills. It is delightfully decorated throughout, and a particular feature of the cottage is the large living room with low windows making the most of the views. There is a small snug with cosy open fire perfect for those chillier evenings.

Shorepark Holiday Cottage is a delightful waterside cottage with stunning views, overlooking the estuary of the River Nith on the edge of Glencaple village, within a National Scenic Area. The old part of the house was originally a fisherman’s cottage built in the 1700’s, with its original beams, and the open plan modern extension gives a stunning panoramic view of the river, the birdlife and the landscape beyond. Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms.
