Relaxed Apartment with a Patio in The Castro

Brew a cup of coffee in a cozy kitchen with elegant tiling and find a seat on a decked patio wrapped in a leafy garden. Curl up with a book on a modern sofa in a living area boasting colorful paintings, a stocked bookcase, and exposed wood beams. The unit is a private apartment below the main house with a private entrance. There is one bedroom and a pull out queen sofa. There is room for approx four people (2 per bed) and one bathroom. The summer kitchen features a brand new quartz counter top, beautiful spanish tile backsplash, drink refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster oven (for light heating), and a full set of dishes and glass ware for pizza night at home. There is closet and shelf space for your extra goods and an iron with an ironing board. It's so close to the action it's not even funny! :-) Guests are invited to use the private patio space just outside of the guest unit. We live right upstairs so fully available to all guests during their stay and only a quick text away. The apartment occupies the remodeled lower level of a house in the historic Castro neighborhood. A vibrant nightlife and dining scene is steps away. Head to the iconic Castro Theatre to see a film or take a scenic stroll to Mission Dolores Park. The Muni is a 7 minute walk that takes you to the BART transport to the airport and downtown and financial district. Several buses that run through this area to the rest of the city. Busy area in terms of Lyft/Uber/cabs. Parking can be a bit tough at times, but we never have too much trouble finding a space a block or less from the house. The neighborhood does however, require a parking permit per day. Unfortunately, I have a limited number of passes and will not be able to offer these with the unit. Please be mindful that tickets may be given, but they are generally more sticklers about street cleaning that daily parking permits. I am currently trying to locate nightly parking facilities nearby. If you can manage here without a car, that would be best.

Dolores Park Suite

The private Suite is on a prominent site in Dolores Heights overlooking the popular Dolores Park and Mission Districts. Originally built in 1884 the Suite occupies the ground floor of the historic Victorian main house and features a garden outlook with a private front entrance. Dolores Heights is located high on a centrally located hill nestled between the Mission District, Noe Valley and the Castro and within walking distance of fine dining, shops, clubs, Dolores Park and ground transportation.

Noe Valley has classic San Francisco charm and is safe, clean and residential. It is also central to everything, making it easy to get to main attractions in the city such as Golden Gate Park, The Marina, Twin Peaks and more.

You'll get access to high quality furniture, top of the line Miele Coffee machine and an entire body shower (it’s a dream). You'll be located in the heart of the Castro, walking distance from some of the best views in SF. The Muni is only a 6 minute walk and restaurants right around the corner. You'll find the location and space very rewarding and we can not wait for you to experience it all :)

One block from historic Castro district.

Peaceful Studio in the Trees

Private Studio with a beautiful view, surrounded by urban nature. The studio is cozy and cabin-like with everything you need to enjoy your visit. The neighborhood is peaceful for a city setting. Duboce Triangle is a gorgeous, central neighborhood in San Francisco and arguably one of the best! Our walking score is 98. Enjoy Victorian houses and tree-lined walks to coffee shops, parks, restaurants, fitness studios, events, work, and easy access to public transit for all the sightseeing.

This studio has gets lots of light in the morning and is peaceful with the view of Mission Dolores Church in the background. It’s about 280 square feet. You can’t beat the location and privacy. You also have direct access to a common shared garden. It’s a perfect place to come home to after working in the city or exploring. The location is the best. You don’t need a car when you stay here. Located in the sunniest and funnest part of San Francisco in the iconic Castro district. We don't impose any crazy restrictions and don't require our guests to do any chores when they check out! Professional cleaning and fresh high quality linens, organic shampoo, body wash and soft toilet paper! (My travel pet peeve) We are 100% solar as of July 2024!

This cozy one bedroom suite is located in Dolores Heights and is situated adjacent to the famed Liberty Street Stairway with a panoramic view from Twin Peaks to Corona Heights. It is centrally located with public transportation just steps away and is a short walk to Dolores Park, The Castro, Noe Valley and the Mission District. It has a private entrance and outdoor patio to enjoy the sunshine.
