Sunset Guesthouse

Our family friendly, newly built, self contained guesthouse is situated on a lifestyle block, only 12 minutes drive from Matakana and 2 minutes from the incredible Mathesons Bay and surrounding Leigh area. Sleeping 4, this spacious guesthouse has a bedroom with double bed, and a loft with a superking ecosa mattress and views of the stars through a skylight. The front deck has loads of space to relax and bbq, and a private outdoor bath to soak up the sunsets and views over Whangateau harbour.

Anchor Me Cottage, by the sea! In Matheson Bay!

Anchor Me is a cosy stand alone cottage situated at the rear of your hosts property. Relax and unwind in this endearing setting with just a couple minutes stroll down to Matheson Bay beach. In fact, from where you park your car in the driveway it's around 100 paces to the beach! Enjoy the local area boasting magical beaches and a raft of other activities. Tawharanui 890 Studio.

This is a comfortable,small fully contained stand alone Studio in a farm setting.Situated nearby to beautiful beaches, and the Tawharanui Regional Park where you can take bush walks and trails.On dusk you are able to spot kiwi in the Regional Park, which is very special.If you are attending a Wedding here in Tawharanui this is a perfect location being so very close to the Venue.Ideal for cyclists also as there is a large barn where you can leave your bikes securely and dry.

Room @ No. Two

Boutique accomodation minutes from the village. Room @ No Two is a private guest room and en-suite. It has gorgeous sun and relaxing views overlooking lush green countryside. We provide tea, coffee and muesli. There is a small fridge to keep your market goodies chilled. You’ll have your own private access, car park, a lovely bathroom, TV and Wifi. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind.

Views and convenience at Snells Beach.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

Omakana Cabin – Scenic Farm Stay w/ Sleepout

Wake up in a world of serenity at our guest-favorite Cabin with a new sleepout - perfect for extra guests or remote work. Nestled on a scenic farm between Matakana and Omaha Beach, enjoy a king bed in the main cabin, queen bed and desk in the sleepout, tasteful decor, and modern amenities. Unwind on the private deck or explore the farm. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, or digital nomads. Sleepout is available for bookings of 3+ guests.

The Little Guest House, Matakana

The cosy cabins are less than an hour North of Auckland tucked away at the base of the Dome Valley reserve which is 5 minutes drive from Warkworth and 15 minutes to Matakana.

Escape and relax at Matakana By The River, a new guesthouse that overlooks the Matakana River and is located behind the Matakana War Memorial. The property's iconic white gate leads to shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, cafes and the Saturday Farmer’s Market - all within short walking distance. Please note that we accommodate adults eighteen years and over only.
