We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

Our cottage is a lounge/Kitchen that is light & airy with French doors leading to the patio, I supply milk, Tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, cake, biscuits, We have a washing machine & Tumble dryer in the kitchen, These are NOT for use of one Night Stays, Only for guests staying 4 days or longer. Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited.
