An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

A meticulously restored grain silo full of character and unique features; a study in using, re-using & recycling wood metal and functional parts. Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Escape to a unique and quirky rural retreat. The literal English translation of Tŵr-Ffoledd is "Tower of Folly". We think that's a pretty accurate description given its dramatic tall outline and the unusual features found in the interior. It's a peaceful, dog friendly holiday retreat in beautiful Mid Wales close to the Brecon Beacons, Llanwrtyd Wells, Elan Valley and Builth Wells. Please note that the steep stairs make this property unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

We are in the heart of Welsh farming land surrounded by farms so please do expect to hear working dogs, cow hearding or even a spot of late night combine harvesting in the area.

HERON is a converted timber framed cabin with a contemporary, light filled design and large windows overlooking the forest. It features a spacious garden, covered decking and a wood fired hot tub. Enjoy direct access to on site walking and mountain biking trails. The shower wet room (no bath) is under cover in the main building, accessed via the veranda. Featured as Leigh’s House in The End of the Fxxxing World Season 2.

Bryn Retreat is a quiet, self-contained annex attached to our home, intended for calm, low-key stays. With its own private entrance and hallway, it includes a separate double bedroom, a living / dining room, a well-appointed kitchen with oven and hob, and a private shower room. It suits couples or solo guests who are comfortable staying in an annex attached to a lived-in home and who value a peaceful, relaxed environment.
