Situated in a quiet village, a recently refurbished cottage 3 miles from Keswick, which boasts picturesque views onto Skiddaw Range and other surrounding fells The pathway leading up to Whinlatter is adjacent, ideal for lovely walks and countless cycle routes. Garden Cottage @ Catlands Foot Farm near Ireby

Garden Cottage is a lovely converted barn attached to Catlands Foot Farm tucked away on the hillside with views across to the Galloway Hills, Scotland. Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns. With plenty of short walks available from the cottage there is a no better place to relax and unwind. Pet friendly.

Rose Cottage is part of an old fulling mill (c. 1669) situated on the River Caldbeck in this peaceful, well served village. This semi detached property has been recently renovated, retaining beautiful period beams & fireplaces. On the Cumbria Way with fells, footpaths, bridleways & cycle routes from the doorstep. Romantic Lake District Retreat for 2 near Caldbeck

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

Big Lake District house in Caldbeck (Keswick area)

Calva is a spacious family home at the foot of the Northern Fells in the cosy village of Caldbeck, situated directly on the Cumbria Way. The house sleeps 8 people in king, queen, double and 2 single beds with room for an additional 2 on sofa beds at an additional charge per head. The village plays host to a wealth of locally run amenities with a small shop, petrol station, cafes and a classic pub for a meal with locally brewed ale.
