On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Stable Cottage is a delightful hideaway in the lovely hamlet of Elkstones in the Peak District. Affording a little taste of country living with views over 'The Secret Valley' being enjoyed from the outside seating area.Enjoy waking up to the sound of a wood pecker and falling asleep to the hooting of an owl.  (Unless they are on holiday themselves) . Hut in the Hills Peak District, Unique & Tranquil

A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.
