Birch Burn Retreat

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Essential facilities include portapotty, wash station, and fresh water. Dogs are welcome. Enjoy the secluded beauty of Birch Burn Retreat. Due to provincial ban, fires not allowed until ban lifted

With a full kitchen, large custom shower, and access to our electric cedar sauna on site, this pet‑friendly space invites you to slow down and relax.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable 2 bedroom escape with an exceptional ocean view. If you're looking for a nice quiet peaceful spot to getaway, this is the place for you! Enjoy the beautiful view from the Hot Tub, check out the lookoffs over looking the water, outside fire pit, walking trails. *Please be aware the Beach Access is about a 5 minute walk down a semi hard to moderate trail in the woods with a few steep spots* & not available for winter use.

"The Cottage" located in Selma N.S. is on the land of one of the former Acadian settlements and minutes from the Bay of Fundy and world highest tides. It is less than an hour from the airport and 3 golf courses, an hour to Halifax, 2 hours from Cape Breton or the Annapolis Valley.
