Our bright and modern one bedroom apartment provides an ideal base from which to explore Royal Deeside! There is an abundance of leisure pursuits, fine dining and shopping on our door step! Walking/running/cycling/trails/hills/scenery/fishing/lochs and rivers/castles/road biking/mountain biking/ just relaxing!/amazing food and drink! The Queen's Hut

The Queen's Hut This picture perfect log cabin sits on the banks of a secluded loch just a stone's throw from Aboyne on Royal Deeside. The Hut was originally built for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, who enjoyed lunching here during her visits to Balmoral. Our 3 bedroom villa is situated within a quiet and exclusive development on Royal Deeside adjacent to Inchmarlo Golf Centre which has a 9 hole course and driving range. On-site is Sutherland's Patisserie offering delicious sweet treats or a light lunch. A 15 min walk will take you into Banchory town centre where there are many restaurants/supermarkets and shops to cater for all your needs. There are many golf courses in the area as well as opportunites to fish, shoot, hillwalk and ski.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.
