The Stone House in Aspro (North Side)

The Northern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a large outdoor yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

Το σπίτι του προπαππού Νικόλα και των 8 παιδιών του αφέθηκε στη φθορά του χρόνου για δεκαετίες, μέχρι που πρόσφατα αναπαλαιώθηκε με πολλή αγάπη και σεβασμό στην ντόπια αρχιτεκτονική παράδοση. The pool can be heated with prior request. The cottage nestles between mature olive trees in an acre of beautiful Cretan countryside and is secluded from the main house.
