OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we offer boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS: The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. Your safety is our main priority! All of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. PHOTOS: One of the instructors will try to take complimentary GoPro photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. Keep in mind that it's not alway possible to get water shots due to safety reasons. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. For kids under 12yo - please inquire about private lessons.

Before you come: We will try and contact you to size you for a wetsuit/board to help speed up the pre-lesson portion, and also give you an update on the conditions for your lesson. 20 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit. First 45min- hour of lesson: We will be on land and cover all of the basics, technique, and safety. The following 30-40 minutes: we'll be in the water together. I'll help you get into waves and give you instruction in the water to help you surf your first wave(s) The remaining time: you'll show what you've learned, We'll be a little more hands-off and either join you in the water or watch from the beach. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of beautiful Marina del Rey while kayaking or standup paddle boarding. Find hidden spots in the marina and discover local wildlife, including sea lions, a wide variety of birds and sometimes even dolphins. We will meet on the parking lot right next to mellow sandy Mother's beach, talk about the local environment and marine life, kayaking/paddle-boarding techniques and safety. After that we will board on our kayaks and SUPs and paddle towards the main channel of the Marina. On the way we can observe all the beautiful and unique boats and search for sea lions, birds, dolphins and other marine life (these are the wild animals and I can't guarantee that we'll see them, but in majority of the time we do).

Before every lesson I look at the surf forecast and make sure it is suitable for the group. We'll meet at the parking area, grab our gear and head out to the beach. The first 20 min we will spend practicing on the sand learning surf technique, then we'll get into the water and ride our first waves! You will be in the water with an instructor for the next hour and the remaining 30-40 min will be spent free surfing and practicing your skills on the equipment we provided you. We will focus on catching a variety of types of waves and giving you tricks and tips that will serve you well for surfing on your own. You'll also learn local surf culture and etiquette so that you stay on the right side of your fellow surfers. These lessons are taught by myself or our other expert instructors. Our lessons are small groups (max 4 students per instructor), which maintains a standard of quality. Expect to develop a foundation that will serve you well on your track to becoming a self sufficient surfer. Catch a wave, and you'll be hooked! Sound Bath experience will be held off the gorgeous soft sands of California near Malibu. The meditative journey will be a dance of beautiful sounds of the high gentle frequency Alchemy Bowls and the earth-sea vibrations. The vibrations permeate the body at a deep cellular level to connect our awareness inward, realigning the mind, body, and spirit. These healing sounds help us to release stress, anxiety, emotional blockages, and tension we may be holding onto within our energetic and physical bodies. The vibration of the crystals brings balance to the brain's hemispheres, slowing our brain waves into alpha-theta, and calming our nervous system to get a deep sense of calm connection. We will teach you all the basic surf knowledge. Our school uses a unique technique which helps you learn how to stand up on a surfboard in less than two hours, even if you are a complete beginner. You do not have to wait weeks to successfully stand on a surfboard. We cover everything you need to know to become a surfer in two hours. The first half hour is spent on land discussing the ins and outs of surf technique where you will learn the basic rules and surf safety. The remainder of the time is spent in the water with your instructor and later you can practice by yourself. By your very first lesson, you’ll be riding waves and feeling the joy that surfing brings! Join me to Set Sail off the coast of some of the most beautiful coastlines of California creating along the way memories you cannot forget. We will depart Marina Del Rey , travel along the main harbor then out to sea. We will pass the World famous Venice Beach pier where you can take a photo off the bow with the backdrop of the main beach you can't get anywhere else! Then, we will pass Manhattan Beach where the beach seems to rise up from the sea out of nowhere providing for some of the most spectacular photos of shimmering sea and sands and a playground for dolphins off the boat!. The Tuning Fork healing session will take place on the beautiful beach, near Malibu. To begin your meditative healing, an intention-setting process will be carried out to set the tone for your healing space. During the session, tuning forks will be played near your ears and around your body as you lie down. Various combinations of frequencies and harmonics will be used in the form of wellness protocols to move energies, which are designed to help release emotions, trauma, addiction, stress, anxiety, energy blockages, and tensions that you may be holding onto within your energetic field and physical body. In addition to this, Tibetan Bowls and other highly attuned instruments will be played around your body to create vibration-healing energy that will ground you and clear and release energies that no longer serve you. This unique healing experience has been offered for the past 6 years and has helped people connect back into their true energetic alignment, reconnect back with their higher selves, and most importantly, experience the healing power of nature. Improv is a practice for overcoming anxiety and stage fright. The training also requires developing of acute listening and engagement skills. This class starts off with fun group games and exercises that challenge you to be spontaneous (without thinking). In fact, much of improv will ask of this of you and in turn, you will learn to conquer you inner critic. After warm up, we go from group exercises to 2 to 4 person exercises and the rest of the group becomes the audience. This dynamic is powerful in overcoming fear and anxiety and gaining confidence of being your spontaneous self in front of others. I will be coaching about the tactics that promote interesting and engaging work that is fun to play and is fun for the audience. We will practice both short form (think Whose Line is it...) and long form (scene work). Other things to note If you are anxious, nervous and scared - you are coming to the right place. This class is designed to help you understand these dynamics and overcome them by being bold in the arena of improv.
