Next, we will walk around some local spots in Palermo so you know the roots of the neighborhood and then sample some wines and local tapas in a stunning restaurant. We will then make our way across the main streets in Palermo until we arrive to a local staple known as a "bodegon". This restaurant has been in Palermo since 1950's and it was completely refurbished recently so we can enjoy the classic Argentine flavors with a modern twist. This is one outstanding location with a history that must be shared to keep the traditions alive. Our last spot is a traditional Argentine "parrilla", aka, steakhouse. We'll go to see a game and understand how people in Argentina live football: our passions, our traditions, the meaning football has in our lives. We'll see the colours of the fans, hear the sound of the drums, sing the songs and hopefully taste a victory! Tickets, food & drink included. The experience is meant to be as real as it can get, and as different as to what traditional tours offer. We'll stop at a local bar on our way to drink a beer/soda before the match starts and grab a bite like a traditional choripán, hopefully surrounded by other fans singing pre-game songs. Your bilingual expert guide will be with you at every moment, so you don't have to worry about logistics, security or anything else: just enjoy the game. You'll also learn everything you need to know about the game you are watching, the club, the players, the stadium or football in general. It has a specific way of preparing it that comes from the natives of these lands and it is done in the form of a ritual. We invite you to be part of a mate ritual, just like we do every day. We will gather around a table to begin the mate ritual. With an introductory talk, we will tell you about the origin of mate, the legends about mate and what it means for Argentines through our personal experiences. Next, we will provide you with all the necessary elements to prepare a good mate, we will explain how the mate is prepared, all the specific rules that are followed in the mate rituals, as well as the different variations it contains. Then we will get to work, each one preparing their own mate, under our supervision and accompaniment. Then you will have a mate prepared by yourselves. We are going to try different types of mate, mate with herbs, sweet mate, cooked mate and even tereré. La clase comienza degustando una "picada" casera de bienvenida mientras aprendemos sobre la historia de la cocina argentina. Luego, nos arremangamos y cocinamos un menú local de cuatro pasos, que incluye un snack, entrada, plato principal y postre. Durante la experiencia, no solo aprenderemos a preparar recetas tradicionales, sino también sobre su historia y origen. Finalmente, siguiendo nuestras costumbres, compartiremos todo lo que cocinamos sentados alrededor de nuestra mesa, en un ambiente íntimo y relajado donde podrás conocer viajeros de todo el mundo, y, ¿por qué no? hacer nuevos amigos de viaje. Brindaremos recomendaciones locales de Buenos Aires y las recetas de la clase junto con fotos para tus recuerdos de viaje :) Unite a nosotros y ¡que empiece la aventura culinaria! We'll go to see a game and understand how people in Argentina live football: our passions, our traditions, the meaning football has in our lives. We'll see the colours of the fans, hear the sound of the drums, sing the songs and hopefully taste a victory! Tickets, food & drink included. The experience is meant to be as real as it can get, and as different as to what traditional tours offer. We'll stop at a local bar on our way to drink a beer/soda before the match starts and grab a bite like a traditional choripán, hopefully surrounded by other fans singing pre-game songs. Your bilingual expert guide will be with you at every moment, so you don't have to worry about logistics, security or anything else: just enjoy the game. You'll also learn everything you need to know about the game you are watching, the club, the players, the stadium or football in general. When the game ends, we will return back to the first meeting point but if you feel like taking a taxi home we'll make sure you do this safely. I will also let you know what colors to wear to the game and if you are interested I can send you a couple of songs to learn beforehand. Safety: Matches are guarded by police and we'll only go to safe stadiums and neighbourhoods. I recommend to come dressed not too fancy and don't bring any expensive items. The program is kid-friendly as long as they are supervised by an adult.

Realizaremos un recorrido nocturno en bicicleta, a ritmo relajado visitando algunos de los principales íconos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Al finalizar, si los participantes desean, podremos deternos en una zona donde podrán deleitarse con exquisitos platos típicos locales, como choripán, lomito, entre otros (comida tradicional de Argentina) en Costanera Sur. Nuestro recorrido tendrá un total de 11 km (aprox.) y se desarrollará en un 80% sobre ciclovías seguras dispuestas desde hace varios años en Buenos Aires. Haremos un total de 7 paradas para contemplar y fotografiar monumentos y edificios históricos. En cada parada ofreceremos una breve explicación sobre el área, a veces histórica, otras veces contemporánea. El paseo incluye el uso de la bicicleta. Son bicicletas de paseo modelo Holanda aro 28. Dispondrán de luces tanto traseras (rojas) como delanteras (blancas). Además se ofrece un casco de seguridad para cada huésped. En caso de lluvia la actividad puede reprogramarse para otro día u horario, o bien se procede a la cancelación y el huésped recibe 100% del dinero abonado.

Come get dirty with us in Buenos Aires :) Our studio hosts private clay parties where you and your partner or friends can learn the basics of working with clay and take home your own special creation. In this beginners pottery class, participants will learn the basics of ceramic hand-building under a local ceramic artist’s loving gaze as they get to explore the endless possibilities and joys of working with clay. Participants will have the option of creating whatever they wish (mugs, planters, bowls, a sculpture, etc.) receiving guidance and knowledge along the way. The session will be around 2,5 hours, so we will have time to settle in, introduce ourselves and create something. In this comfortable and engaging atmosphere, we will have some snacks and wine and a carefully curated playlist to groove on while building our ceramics. You’ll also get to paint and decorate your creations using different tools and techniques. No prior ceramic experience is required. Materials and tools will be provided, works made during the workshop will then be glazed, fired and finished in our studio. Students will be able to pick up finished pieces on an arranged pick-up date. This may take up to 3/4 weeks. In case you'd be gone by then we can ship the pieces via FedEx to your hometown (please note shipping cost is not included in price). Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

Concurriremos al partido de fútbol argentino más atractivo de la fecha en alguna cancha (estadio) de Buenos Aires. El tour incluye traslados puerta a puerta desde tu Hotel en Palermo, Recoleta o San Telmo en mi automóvil hasta el estadio para vivir una experiencia llena de calor, música y color que todo amante del fútbol debe experimentar para realmente conocer cómo se vive el fútbol en la Argentina. Según el calendario los estadios al que asistiremos son: Boca, River, Racing, San Lorenzo, Independiente, Racing, Huracán, Velez, Banfield, Lanús y Argentinos Juniors. ¡Bienvenidos a una experiencia única en el barrio de almagro! Te invito a sumergirte en la auténtica cultura del tango, lejos de los shows turísticos, donde te sentiras parte de la verdadera comunidad porteña. Esta experiencia NO es un "show de tango". Se trata de vivir una noche DE tango, acompañados por mí. ¿Qué haremos? Nos encontraremos en el barrio de almagro y en el transcurso de la noche los llevaré a dos lugares. Uno es un bar donde escucharemos músicos locales tocando tango y el otro lugar es una milonga (lugar donde la gente va a bailar tango). Estos tesoros de la ciudad están muy cerca entre sí, por ende caminaremos de un lugar al otro (máximo 400 metros). En esta noche, no solo asistirás a un evento, sino que te convertirás en parte de una comunidad que celebra el tango como forma de vida. Esta experiencia te brindará una visión genuina de Buenos Aires y sus raíces musicales. No es necesario que tengan ningún conocimiento de tango y cualquier pregunta que les surja, me ocuparé de responderla.
