Shaftesbury Glade Cottages near Manawaru Village

Self Catering Accommodation in a rural retreat, close to the Kaimai Range, only a short drive from the renowned Mineral Spas of Te Aroha and the rural towns of Matamata (world famous as Hobbiton), as well as Morrinsville. The peaceful retreat with two cottages set in a woodland oasis. Specifically designed for couples wanting that romantic getaway. Additional features include an outside bath in amongst trees with hot water from a wood fired water heater and a Swedish/Danish styled steam sauna.

Surrounded by green paddocks with views to rolling hills and spectacular sunsets makes this small cabin ideal for a country getaway, wedding near by or visiting the family. 2 min drive to popular fishing spot & beach access - Roger's Rd. 5 mins drive to nearest service station (BP) 20 mins to Te Puke, Approx 30 mins to Mt. Maunganui, Tauranga & Whakatane.

Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

Wainui River Glamping

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. Littlefoot Tiny House

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom as well as an outside shower and bath. The cabin can be configured with a superking bed or 2 single beds. Peaceful rural setting just 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and just 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens. There is an organic garden and orchard. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

Enjoy a refreshing swim , relax in the wood fire heated bath or try your hand at catching a trout. Enjoy the tranquil sound of nature from every aspect. Hot water via gas califont , flushing toilet , solar power , fridge , unlimited WiFi. Note : cabins location requires travelling down a farm track. If track is wet , we offer transportation down to the location.

We are a 20 min walk (5-10 min drive) to Cambridge township amenities incl walking paths, Lake Te Ko Utu Domain/shops, and wonderful cafes/restaurants. The velodrome and Te Awa River Ride are nearby. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato!
