Very spacious 2 bedroom cottage solely for guests use (opened Jan 2023) Open plan lounge, dining, kitchenette area Jug, toaster, microwave, toasted sandwich machine, electric frypan, fridge/freezer, air fryer, rice cooker. Bedding includes 2 x queen size beds ,2 x king single beds plus a rollaway bed.. Dargaville township 10-15 min walk. Suitable single, couples, family, business guests. next to a dairy 7 days and takeaways 5 days. Kai Iwi Lakes 20mins drive approx. Stay 1 night or longer.

Fully equipped from cheese knife, to Air fryer. Relax with coffee on the deck or at our bar with a cold one. The Beach, Boat Ramps, Pub, Sands, Cafes, Four Square are all minutes away. I'm Tui, a fwendly 6yr old foxie. We have a fenced yard. Bring your little doggie, we can zoomie all day and you can relax in Hokianglers’ Rest

Koutu Cove: Luxe 1 Bedroom Pod

Not suitable for children. Strictly no groups, pets, visitors, camping, parties, or events.

Top House - unrivalled views and privacy

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Aranga Farm Stay

Our property is a working beef farm, so you will hear and see daily activities. The section is fully fenced. The porch gives a nice view of the valley. The pool is available from mid December to mid March usually. Pool is not heated. Kai Iwi Lakes 20-25 minutes drive and the Maunganui Bluff Beach 10 minutes. Note: 4 km of metal road off S H 12 to reach the house. No Wifi/Good mobile phone reception/Free-view TV Dargaville is the closest place for shopping and eating out.

Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Wild Forest Treehouse Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

Fairytale Treehouse

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.

Funky House near historic Russell

Modern, spacious and well appointed home with views to die for. Two double bedrooms, each with wonderful water views to wake up to. This home is perfect for couples looking for a getaway. Close to historic Russell and all it's charms, yet private and spacious enough so you can relax and unwind. Some of the best night sky viewing around, with Kiwi in the nearby bush.

It has a private outlook with the sights and sounds of the country. It is close to native bush and abundant bird life. Enjoy all Opononi and surrounding areas have to offer all within a 5min drive to the beach.
