Our secluded cabin is surrounded by ancient oak tree forest and all the wildlife that comes with it. It’s so peaceful that you will only hear the river and the birds. Set in 10 acres of our own land for you to explore and easy access to Snowdonia public foothpaths, it’s perfect for those looking to spend some time in nature. The cabin itself features private wood fired hot tub, wet room, underfloor heating, large deck with bbq, kingsize bed, kitchen, living and dining area and a private cinema.

Betty's Cottage - Beautiful, rural valley.

Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic & comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are dog friendly and are happy to welcome up to two well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle & explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's & is a traditional, stone cottage.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband.
