Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Welcome to Orchard cottage, a single storey building, annexed to ( but separate from ) our house. The cottage is furnished to a high standard. We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

Rose Cottage on England / Wales border. Shropshire

Rose Cottage is a stone built property built around 1830. The floors upstairs are all planked Elm and the downstairs areas are Flagstone flooring. The beamed ceilings and inglenook mean the property exudes character but with all the mod cons, including high speed internet. The cottage was recently upgraded with a Hand- painted kitchen with built in Dishwasher and fridge. Work surfaces are Kashmir white granite. The front garden is quite private & the bench is a perfect spot for a cup of tea.

Luxury barn conversion attached to our house. Situated close to the A494 for easy access to Snowdonia National Park but set in an acre of gardens surrounded by open countryside . There is a hot tub and outdoor shower with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and pellet pizza oven. Underfloor heating throughout. Bedrooms have smart tv and 4g WiFi. The four poster room has en-suite shower room and the second bedroom (twin or super king) has access to bathroom with shower above. Thanks for looking .

Goetre Hall is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside near the Shropshire borders, on the outskirts of the small village of Meifod. The perfect spot for a relaxing countryside break but within easy reach of the many attractions that Mid Wales and Shropshire have to offer. The footpaths on our doorstep give you an excellent opportunity to explore mid Wales. This will be appreciated by any four-legged friends that accompany you on your holiday as our cottages are dog friendly.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.
