Unique octagon home set over the South Fork of the New River. Large deck overlooks scenic river view. Open the windows and feel the fresh air and hear the river below. Steps to the river enable fishing, kayaking, swimming, river walking or a great place to watch the sun set. Inside, the all wood 1,600 square feet is centered by a huge stone fireplace in a sunken living room open to the dinning room and kitchen creating a wonderful 'heart' for visiting and sharing a meal. Our 750 sq ft. Cabin offers WiFi, streaming TV, central AC and heat, fully stocked kitchen, coffee provided, towels, comfortable bed and quality linens. We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome!

Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

This is a peaceful cabin located just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Relax and enjoy the scenic views, tall trees and sounds of the nearby creek! There are numerous hikes in the area and other outdoor activities such as kayaking, skiing, apple-picking and Christmas Tree cutting. Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Lazy Daze Cabin is near West Jefferson, just below a state park atop Mount Jefferson. Our private cabin is in a quiet spot nestled in the woods just minutes from hiking & biking trails, golfing, canoeing, tubing, snow skiing, and more, but is a million miles away from the 9-to-5 grind.
