Unique octagon home set over the South Fork of the New River. Large deck overlooks scenic river view. Open the windows and feel the fresh air and hear the river below. Steps to the river enable fishing, kayaking, swimming, river walking or a great place to watch the sun set. Inside, the all wood 1,600 square feet is centered by a huge stone fireplace in a sunken living room open to the dinning room and kitchen creating a wonderful 'heart' for visiting and sharing a meal. Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Out of the Blue Cabin cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin located in quaint West Jefferson, NC. With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel. Bed linens, towels, washer and dryer are included in your stay.

Nestled in a high mountain meadow just above the New River, this 750 square foot cabin has plenty of amenities and nearly 20 acres for your own private Idaho...there are marked and cleared hiking trails...look for the entrance post to the left "1285." NOTE: GPS systems are sending people to the coordinates of the cabin and not the entrance road. Always come in via NC-16--John Halsey-Weavers Ford-East Weavers Ford.
