Oak Barn is a luxurious barn conversion with gardens, surrounded by fields on the edge of Lower Peover near Knutsford, Cheshire. The tranquil space sleeps a couple or family comfortably in a large bedroom with shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. Explore the beautiful Calder valley from this characterful grade II listed annex to Kilnhurst Old Hall, once the home of the author, artist and traveller William Holt. We have a comfy king-size bed in the lower bedroom, and two singles or a double on the mezzanine level above as you prefer, and a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

It is ideal for walking routes, with friendly local pubs and restaurants nearby and is only a 15 minute walk into Rawtenstall town centre. The nearest super market is just 0.4 miles away.

Annex in centre of Poulton Village.

This self contained annex is located at the rear garden of a house in a very quiet street. It is located in a perfect spot only 2 minutes walk to the centre of Poulton and 5 mins from the train station. 2 miles from Blackpool Hospital 6 min drive (see pics) Good transport links to Preston. Free on street parking is usually available. The annex has private access. It is accessed down a narrow pathway which runs inbetween/ behind the residential properties. Please see photographs.

Cosy rural cottage in lovely big Cheshire garden

Welcome to the Mariannerie! This cosy cottage nestles under two enormous oak trees in a large garden, with views over open fields. Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

Newbridge Guest House

This guest house is in a rural location, within the grounds we have 2 fishing lakes which we run as a commercial fishery with farm land all around. There are chickens on site and occasional visits from a peacock and peahen. I must make you aware that we have 2 cockerels and they can be vocal early in the morning, the peacock too, this may not suit everyone. please be aware that there is no oven, but there is a hob, air fryer, microwave and toaster.
