Fijnbox eco-cabin

Enjoy the tranquil and peaceful environment with panoramic views over the Stranveld’s mountains and fynbos. Fijnbox is a 20ft eco container cabin situated on the mountain side overlooking Murasie and the small town, Baardskeerdersbos The cabin is perfectly suited for two adults, a great romantic gateway. This self-catering eco cabin is secluded and powered by solar and gas. It has a lovely braai lapa, with a wood fired hot tub on the patio. We provide all the luxuries you need during your stay.

KORF Eco Cabin

Our goal is to have you as close to nature as possible, while having luxury to enjoy the experience. We offer a 2 bedroom container cabin and one large bathroom overlooking fynbos nature. The lounge area connected to a small kitchen extends over a deck that's equipped with a covered braai and dinning area. The main deck extend to the woodfire hot-tub and a deck-hammock to make sure you engage with the stars. A high profile / high clearance vehicle is required - (SUV / Crossover / Bakkie).

Farmstays @ Pendennis Farm Villiersdorp

Perfect for a family get-together or a group of friends. The houses: Victorian House (for 8 guests) and the Container House (also for 8 guests). They are a stone throw from each other. Pendennis is a working farm in the beautiful Bossieveld. Guests can enjoy walks in vineyards and orchards, meet our farm animals. There is a dam - but swimming is seasonal due to irrigation. A small pool is available from Oct. to May. We supply instant coffee, tea, rusk, wood (no charcoal) and fire lighters

The tiny home

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The sound of happy froggies, birds, chickens and horses will keep you grounded and takes you right back into what Nature had intended for us. This is a cozy tiny home container is indeed a tiny home, with a tiny kitchenette, two plate gas top and tiny fridge. It's nestled on a large plot, next to a lemon tree and rose garden. Our living eco pool hosts frogs and tadpoles which invites nature lovers for a cool down on hot days.

Peaceful hideaway with wood fired hot tub

Almond cottage is positioned above a dam in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light, modern cabin with direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is styled as a one bedroom, two person cabin, there is a queen sized open pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest and can be made up for small extra fee. Almond cottage is set back from the lake and enjoys views of farmland and mountains.

The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms with compost toilets, and a spacious open plan kitchen/living area with a cast iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

This eco-friendly house, built from repurposed shipping containers, is living proof that minding the environment does not have to come at a cost. The house is spacious, airy and welcomes 6 guests in complete comfort. Light streams in from the mountain-facing deck, complete with built-in braai and seating area.

Just make sure to pack your powerbank since there is no electricity and the site is off the grid. we use solar for lighting and gas for geysers and oven.
