Our piece of paradise is situated on the edge of the water in the Athenree Village (north end of the Tauranga harbour). The modern upstairs apartment is yours exclusively. From here you can: watch the sunrise over the water; enjoy the ever-changing view of the tide; watch the varied and rich bird life; or relax while reading or playing games from our library. Feel more energetic? Walk to the surf beach; visit the hot pools or take a walk on the water edge. We follow AirBnB cleaning protocols.

Enjoy the private, tranquil setting of this fully appointed apartment here on the celebrated Whitianga Waterways. Easy walking distance to Whitianga shops, trendy eateries, and the magical white sands of Buffalo Beach. Also visit iconic Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Your hostess, Dorothy sailed the world with husband Derek. I am now comfortably settled in our shore-side residence. Come and be at home here. As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.

Stroll 50 metres to the main street of Whangamata, 10 minute walk to the main beach, skatepark 500 metres down the road and walking distance to the supermarket. Apartment is poolside and has 2 decks to enjoy. One situated off main bedroom for the afternoon sun and one off the main area creating a nice outdoor eating/relaxing area.
