If you would like a clean, private modern studio in the heart of the Town Basin look no further. We are a 5 minute walk to the Hundertwasser Gallery and Wairoa Maori Art Museum as well as numerous fantastic restaurants and bars in the Town Basin precinct. There are also weekend markets and supermarkets and the CBD all within a 5 minute walk. Our studio has everything you need, is well equiped and you also have your own undercover outdoor area. Purpose built, modern and a little bit special!

Doves Lookout

This studio is set in a beautiful quiet environment, with native trees, bush, and serenity. Only a few minute's drive from central Whangarei, this offers you the best of both worlds. Drive into town or other close by attractions then come back to relax away from the busy city life. We have all afternoon sun and amazing sunsets to watch and enjoy with a glass of wine on the deck. We are two minutes walk away from one of the beautiful Parahaki walks which takes you to the lookout at the top.

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

Tranquility Lodge - hideaway close to town

At Tranquility Lodge you will find a very quiet and conveniently located guesthouse to meet all your needs in a peaceful countryside setting only 3 kms to the CBD. Spacious apartment nestled amongst beautiful gardens, your mornings will be greeted with the bird chorus, bunnies scampering through the garden (naughty little things) , and cows and horses just over the garden gate. Waterfront cycleway nearby. A truly rural setting yet only 3kms to the CBD.

Situated close to the Whangarei Falls walking track, Abbey Caves & the mountain bike park nearby, there is plenty to explore! Come for a relaxing weekend away or a peaceful mid week work stop.

Located in the back hills of the Tutukaka Coast - within 5 min of Ngunguru or 15 min of Sandy Bay surf beach, you can enjoy being on the coast without worrying about the crowds.

Central 2BR Guesthouse - Upmarket, Private & Quiet

This is a unique heritage property. Although central to town, it is large and quiet with gardens and mature trees; set back from the road behind two other properties. The property boasts privacy with its long driveway, electric gate entrance and surrounding brick wall. The Guesthouse is privately nestled behind your host's historic 1906 Villa, with views of Parihaka Mountain.

Peaceful Garden Cabin

Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.

Set just back from the edge of a cliff bordering the Whangarei Harbour you will find a private 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom, surrounded by sea views and native bush.
