The views of the harbour and Mount Manaia are a pretty special back drop while you enjoy a wine on the deck or fire up the wood fired pizza oven to cook your fresh catch. A fantastic coast for fishing, diving, snorkelling, water sports or coastal scenic hikes - we are definitely spoilt for choice in our little slice of paradise.

Staffa Bay Iconic 70's Treehouse

Perched above Staffa Bay on the stunning Tutukaka Coast, this 1970s Warwick Lee–designed home is a true Kiwi bach — full of character, cosy, and surrounded by native bush with sweeping views over Woolleys Bay. Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
