Waikawa is a microclimate very sheltered and peaceful, private outdoor living on the guest patio, BBQ, Sheep in the adjacent paddock, 5 minutes to the safe swimming beach, 4 minutes to the local marina, Jolly Roger Café bar. 8 minutes drive to Picton's shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .

Soak up the sun at the local beaches or enjoy access to the Marlborough Sounds from the many tourist operators from the quay or simply enjoy the great walking and biking tracks nearby.

The Cowshed

Herd of Cows?! Quiet, comfortable and fun accommodation just 15 minutes walk through the picturesque Picton Marina to cafes, bars, shops, theatres, cruises and walking tracks. Free pickup and setdown from ferry may be available. Transfer from Blenheim by arrangement. Be warned......this great priced accommodation is probably nothing like you have ever stayed in previously. My folly and a labour of love! If you don't have a sense of humour or don't like cows.....don't book in! :-)

Only 10 minutes drive from Picton where the train, bus or ferry connects you to the gateway of the South Island or North Island. Owner on site in separate private dwelling, allowing full privacy & exclusive use of 'The Milton'. A wide selection of breakfast foods provided, for your self serve, to suit your routine/travel times.
