Newly refurbished farm cottage, situated on a working farm just outside of the Newcastle/Gateshead area. A quiet, peaceful scenic area, close to local attractions like Beamish Museum, Tanfield Railway and the Metro Centre. A short drive to the beautiful north east coastline, or into historic Durham & Newcastle City centres. 2 bedrooms with en suites, 1 double room and 1 room with 2 single beds. An historic Georgian building that’s previously been cloisters, school playground & motor house for the nuns of St Anne’s Convent, now reborn as a bespoke luxury mews house in the heart of the city in Summerhill Square. The house is on 1 level & is around 800 sq ft comprising of an open plan living room/ kitchen and dining area; a laundry room; a large bedroom with super king size bed; a shower room and a private courtyard with table and chairs.

This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
