Wake up to this stunning view, relax, and enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea or early evening G&T sitting outside our traditional cottage gazing at the fishing boats in the beck, higgledy-piggledy rooftops or out to sea. Regularly stayed in and painted by artists, this charming 17th Century cruck-beamed fisherman's cottage is quaint and cosy with an open fire-ideal for a romantic getaway / walking holiday. Situated on Whitby's prestigious West Cliff with beautiful sea views. This modern apartment includes a master bedroom with ensuite & king size bed and a twin bedroom with a balcony. There is a family bathroom. The apartment block is opposite a spectacular beach and a short stroll to the centre of Whitby. Parking is offered on a first come first served basis on our private car park. free scratch cards for on street parking are also included. Situated on the 1st floor, accessed by lift or stairs.

Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Enjoy a relaxing break exploring the delightful cobbled streets, shopping in the beautiful quaint gift shops, and savouring the historic treats of Whitby. There are miles of amazing beaches and coastal paths to wander along and plenty of cafes and bars to quench your thirst in. The self-contained apartment is spacious and well-equipped containing a bathroom, comfortable double bedroom and lounge/diner including a sofa-bed with large bay window with Abbey views. Accessed up one flight of stairs.

Our beautifully converted barn is ideally located in the picturesque village of Ruston. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

The Chapter House

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

EV charging available. 45p pkw Guests must be 25+ There are multiple floors levels and various steps inside, this property isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. We have a great veranda with amazing views. WiFi and a Smart TV which includes Netflix and Prime Video. Bedding and towels provided. We provide a free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. The booking includes a bottle of wine. No Pets. The property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to steps and a spiral staircase. Check in 3pm. Check out 11.00 am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.

Belemnite Cottage -harbourside in heart of Whitby

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

No. 3 is a stylish one-bedroomed bijou cottage, perfect for a short break. It is situated on a narrow cobbled street just a yards off a main shopping street. Free nearby parking (scratchcard provided). See Whitby Abbey from the front door and the cliff top from the end of the road. Shop around the corner for milk, bread, newspaper or wine. Stylish cafes, restaurants, & micro brewery a few minutes away. Free wifi, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, spacious en suite and rainforest shower.
