The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

Quiet location with a short walk for elevated views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, Flaxmill Bay, Shakespears Cliff and Cooks Beach. Six minute drive to the centre of town, close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Whitianga and surrounding Coromandel. Take a short walk to take in the views over Wharekaho beach or follow the paths to take you to the beach.

The Treehouse Bush Retreat

Unique, private, expansive bush environment; a true retreat. Beautiful views down a valley of regenerating bush and out to sea - with Great Barrier island in the distance. Freshly renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Pauanui Farm - idyllic hideaway

This beautiful and private holiday home is set on a peaceful little farm surrounded by native bush with panoramic wide open views.
